Manuel M. Ferreira
Manuel M. Ferreira, 93, passed away on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at the Rhode Island Veteran’s Home, Bristol. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Joseph and Isabel (Mello) Ferreira. Mr. Ferreira was an Inspector at G. Tech before he retired. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Elks. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He leaves three sons, Stephen Ferreira of California, Gerald Ferreira of California and David Ferreira of Texas, two sisters, Isabel Ferria of East Providence and Frances Kass of Nebraska, five brothers, Dennis Ferreira of Massachusetts, Raymond Ferreira of Pawtucket, Edmund Ferreira of Maine, Gilbert Ferreira of Pawtucket and Robert Ferreira of Missouri, three grandsons and two great grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Anna M. Melo, Mary Camara, Theresa Damasio, Antonio M. Ferreira, John M. Ferreira and Joseph Ferreira. His funeral will be held on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at 10:00 AM from the Perry-McStay Funeral Home, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in St. Martha’s Church, Pawtucket Avenue. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours Wednesday 6-8 PM.
