Luisa DaSilva Costa

Luisa DaSilva Costa, 91, formerly of Orchard St., East Providence, passed away Thursday, July 6, 2017 at the home of her niece and nephew, Maria and Fernando Rodrigues, with whom she lived. She was the wife of the late Joseph Costa.

Born Feb. 12, 1926, in Bandeiras, Pico, Azores, she was the daughter of the late Eduardo daSilva and Maria Aurora Lopes. She was the sister of Antonio Silva of Rehoboth, and the late Maria Monteiro, Jose Silva, Eduardo Silva and Tomas Silva. She also leaves several nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will begin Tuesday, July 11, at 9am from the Rebello Funeral Home and Crematory, 901 Broadway, East Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Francis Xavier Church, No. Carpenter St., East Providence. Burial will follow at the St. Francis Cemetery. Calling hours will be Monday, 6pm until 8pm.
