Luis B. Santos, 85, passed away on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at the Summit Commons Health Center. He was the husband of Estela (Goncalves) Santos. He was born in Conceicao, Faial, Azores a son of the late Antonio and Quiteria (DosSantos) Bettencourt. Mr. Santos was a manager for the American Insulated Wire Company for 37 years before he retired. He was a member of the Portuguese Social Club and Club Beneficente, both in Pawtucket. Besides his wife he leaves one sister, Maria daConceicao Cruz of Lisbon, one nephew, three nieces, one Godson, one Goddaughter and two sisters in law. He was the brother of the late Antonio and Manuel Bettencourt. His funeral will be held on Monday at 9:00 AM from the Perry-McStay Funeral Home, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Martha’s Church, Pawtucket Avenue.
