Lorraine M. (Daglieri) McMahon

Lorraine M. (Daglieri) McMahon, 88 of Massasoit Avenue, East Providence passed away August 6, 2017. She was the wife of the late Owen McMahon.

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Pasco and Mary (Cordeau) Daglieri.

Lorraine was a teacher's aide for the Providence School Department for many years before retiring. She also was well known for her witty sense of humor and contagious laugh. She had a heart like no other always showing great love and kindness, you couldn't of asked for a better mother or grandmother. Of her many passions, she enjoyed collecting recipe and unique novelty items most.

She was the mother of Owen McMahon, Jr., Michael McMahon, Karen Dalton, Kathleen Hamrick, Lorraine McMahon, Denise McMahon, Alice McMahon, Jan McMahon, Phyllis Fernandes and the late Joseph McMahon and MaryAnn Cartwright; grandmother of 17 and great grandmother of 23. She was also the sister of George Daglieri.

Her funeral and visitation will be held Friday, August 11, 2017 beginning at 8:30 AM in the Romano Funeral Home, 627 Union Avenue, Providence followed by a service in the funeral home at 11:00 AM. Graveside burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. www.romanofuneralhome.com.
