Leonie (Cote) Lacroix 98, of Wampanoag Trail, formerly of Woonsocket, passed away peacefully in the Elderwood at Riverside Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Roland Lacroix. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Alphonsine (Boudreau) Cote.

Leonie was a former member of Parkview Manor Club. Leonie worked for Whitins Machine Shop and Providence Pile Fabric for many years and was a housekeeper for Landmark Medical Center for 18 years prior to retiring.

She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, eating out, and keeping up with current events. She is survived by two daughters, Suzanne O'Neill of East Providence, and Paulette Poirier, and her husband Kenneth Goodwin of Colorado, two sons, Roland Lacroix and his wife Suzanne of Florida, Donald Lacroix of North Smithfield, one sister, Suzanne Houle, of Nevada, and three grandsons, George Branchaud, Derek Poirier, and Erik Wilkinson. She also was the sister of the late Noel, Andre', Lucien, Prosper, Gerard, Laval, Dollard, Montcalm, and Martial Cote and Anita Lafontaine, Mary Jane Gagnon, and Gloria Roberge. Her funeral will be held on Monday December 21, 2020, at 10 AM in All Saints Church, Rathbun St., Woonsocket. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours are respectfully omitted. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Patrick Academy, 244 Smith St. Providence, RI 02908 in Leonie's memory would be appreciated.
