Kevin E. O’Shea

Kevin E. O’Shea, 72, of Fenner Ave, Riverside died peacefully on April 22, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of RoseMarie (Zabawa) O’Shea.

Born in Providence, a son of the late Cornelius P. and Florence M. (Jones) O’Shea, he was a lifelong resident of Riverside.

Mr. O’Shea was a machinist for 35 years before retiring in 2009. He was a United States Navy Veteran serving during the Vietnam War.

Kevin was a member of the Riverside American Legion Post #10. He enjoyed playing monopoly, chess, high- low jack, working on cars and feeding animals.

Besides his wife of 31 years, he is survived by two stepsons; Gary L. Harriger of Buffalo, New York and Dwayne D. Harriger and his wife Kendra of Riverside, four grandchildren; Eddie, Kayla, B.J. and Brooklynne and her boyfriend Felix, a brother; Kenneth O’Shea of Barrington, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Cornelius D .O’Shea and Evelyn F. O’Shea.

His funeral service will be held on Thursday June 1, 2017 in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 11 a.m. Burial with Military Honors will follow in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.
