Joseph B. Sousa, 89, of East Providence, formerly of Fox Point passed peacefully at home on January 5, 2021 surrounded by his beloved wife of 63 years, Lillian N. Sousa, and loving family.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his children, Joseph J. Sousa and wife Joan, David T. Sousa and wife Pamela, Maria E. Fazioli and husband William all of East Providence. He is survived by seven adoring grandchildren, Joseph J. Sousa II, Jarrett Sousa, Samantha Fazioli, Michael Fazioli, Katherine Fazioli, Devin Sousa and Sydney Sousa; and three adored great grandchildren, Isabel Sousa, Penelope Sousa and Joseph J. Sousa III. He is survived by his brother, Richard Sousa of Hope Valley.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, January12th at 10am in St. Francis Xavier Church, 81 N. Carpenter St. East Providence. Following current COVID restrictions, there will be no calling hours and burial will be private.
