Joseph A McKenna, III, 65, of Circuit Drive, Riverside, died unexpectedly at home on May 28, 2020.

Born in Providence, a son of the late Joseph A. McKenna Jr. and Madeline (Walsh) McKenna, he was a lifelong resident of Riverside.

Mr. McKenna was a graduate of Providence College Class of 1977.

Joseph was a Certified Personal Trainer for the past 20 years.

A sports enthusiast, he was a devoted New England Patriots, Boston Red Sox and Providence College Basketball fan. He enjoyed golfing and sailing.

He is survived by three sisters, Christine Bingham of Warren, Coleen Welch of Warren and Kerri Lemos of Riverside and five nieces and nephews, Tim Tait, Bryan Tait, Melissa Lemos, Scott Lemos and A.J. Lemos. He was the brother of the late Paul J. McKenna.

A Private Family Funeral Service will be held in the W. Raymond Watson Funeral Home, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside followed by Burial in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
