John F. “Jack” Gimber

John F. “Jack” Gimber, 76, of Village Drive, Riverside, died peacefully on August 9, 2018. He was the husband of Barbara (Olsen) Gimber.

Born in Pawtucket, a son of the late Frank and Margaret E. (Keenan) Gimber, he lived in Riverside for 26 years.

Mr. Gimber was a procurement clerk for the United States Postal Service for 23 years before retiring in 2009.

Jack was a member of the Riverside American Legion Post #10. He enjoyed traveling and spending time with his loving grandchildren.

Mr. Gimber was a United States Army Veteran serving in Vietnam and the Persian Gulf.

Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughter, Keri-Ann Gimber of Pawtucket and Carrie Greene of Rumford; a son, Justin Fournier of Pawtucket; two sisters, Karen Harbour of Pawtucket and Colleen Holton of Lincoln; a brother, Frank Gimber of Scottsdale, AZ and two grandsons, John and Logan Greene.

His funeral service will be held on Monday August 13, 2018 in the W. Raymond Watson Funeral Home, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 11 a.m. Calling hours are Sunday 4-7 p.m.
