Jeannine N. (Manosh) Rebello 93, of East Providence, peacefully passed away on Friday, November 17, 2023 with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late William J. Rebello.

Born in Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada, on June 2, 1930, Jean was one of ten children born to William Manosh and Alexandrine (Bonneau) Manosh. At the age of 12, she moved to the United States with her family, settling in Pawtucket, RI. Jean was known for her gentle and humble nature, a reflection of her deep faith and devotion to Catholicism. She was a longtime parishioner of St. Francis Xavier Church in East Providence, where her unwavering faith sustained her throughout her life. Always praying for others, she found solace in caring for those around her.

Jean found joy in dancing with her late husband, Bill, sharing a love for music, and playing the piano by ear. She was the longest-living neighbor in her neighborhood, where her kindness and generosity endeared her to all. Her neighbors looked after her, and she, in turn, looked after them.

Above all, Jean was a loving and nurturing mother and grandmother, finding immense joy in spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her devoted daughters: Linda Britt and her husband Clyde of Hope Valley, Joan Egan of Charlestown, and Lori Geyer and her husband John of Exeter. Jean is the cherished grandmother of eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was the dear sister of Therese Fischer of Florida and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Jean was predeceased by her son Robert Rebello and infant son Ronald Rebello. She is also preceded in death by her brothers Maurice, Thomas, Bernard, Wilfred, Philip, and William Manosh, and sisters Madeleine Halle and Marguerite LePage.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, November 25th, at 10 AM in St. Francis Xavier Church, 81 N. Carpenter Street, East Providence. Interment will follow in Mt. St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends are most kindly invited to attend this celebration of Jean's life
