Inez H. Blackler

Inez H. Blackler, 93, of Newman Avenue passed away on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center. Born in Warren, she was a daughter of the late George A. and Grace (Gardner) Harris. Inez was a bookkeeper for the Providence School Department before she retired. She was also a Navy veteran of World War II. She leaves one granddaughter, Victoria A. Hudson, one grandson, David A. Hudson, one sister, Beverly Miles and one nephew, Tom and his wife Karen Miles. She was the mother of the late Judith A. Hudson and sister of the late George A. Harris. A committal service will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 9:30 AM in the chapel at the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, 301 South County Trail, Exeter. Everyone attending the service is asked to meet at the administration building which is located at the entrance of the cemetery at 9:15.
