Gloria G. Haley

Gloria G. Haley, age 93, of Second St., East Providence died March 19, 2021 at the Hattie Ide Chaffee Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Woodrow H. Haley. Born in East Providence, she was a daughter of the late Palmiro and Maria (Cipolli) Giusti.

Gloria worked as a secretary for Immigration Naturalization Services for 10 years, previously working as an administrative assistant for Fireman’s Mutual Insurance.

Gloria “Noni” was happiest sharing time with her family especially with all her grandchildren. She was a seamstress, was very creative with knitting, crocheting and embroidery. Gloria was adventurous and enjoyed skiing, playing golf and traveled extensively and was always ready to go to the beach.

She is survived by her devoted daughters, Marilyn Libucha of N. Scituate, Jacqueline Sotnik and husband Charles of Narragansett, 6 grandchildren: Erik, Brett, Kristen, Kelli, Kaela and Kathryn, 13 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandsons. She is survived by her brother Leo Giusti of East Providence, 2 nieces Carol Giusti and Lisa Giusti both of Barrington. She was predeceased by her sister Marcella Regine, her niece Gail Brennan and son-in-law Dennis Libucha.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday at 10am in Our Lady of Loreto Church, Waterman Ave., East Providence. Burial is Private. Calling hours are Private.
