Glenn P. Meehan

Glenn P. Meehan, 50, of Pascoag RI and Vietnam and formerly of Rumford RI, passed away unexpectedly Friday, January 12, 2018. He was the beloved husband of Tran Thi Giang Meehan. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late John and Paula (Davagne) Meehan. An Army veteran, Glenn was employed as a Pilot by Jet Linx Aviation, and had worked in the Commercial Aviation Industry for over 25 years. Besides his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Paula Meehan, his sister, Ellen Callahan and her husband Kevin, his brother, Paul Meehan and his wife Baya, and his nieces, nephews, and grandnephew: Ryan & Patrick Wright, Michael & Sean Callahan, Brigitte & Jack Meehan, and Dylan Wright. He was the brother of the late Sean Meehan. Glenn enjoyed the travel opportunities afforded by his career, but always loved to return to Rhode Island, especially to the beaches of Jerusalem where his family spent summers during his youth. The funeral will be held Saturday at 9AM from the Costigan-O’Neill Funeral Home, 220 Cottage Street, Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM in Saint Margaret Church, Pawtucket Avenue, Rumford. Burial will be in Mount Saint Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours Friday from 4-7PM in the Costigan-O’Neill Funeral Home.
