Gail M. Pitocco

Gail M. Pitocco 81, of Raymond Street, East Providence, died peacefully on July 5, 2023. She was the beloved wife of the late John Pitocco Jr.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Norman and Hazel (Rhodes) Bjurman, she lived in East Providence for many years.

Mrs. Pitocco worked as a cashier at the former Ann & Hope, Seekonk, MA where she enjoyed working with the senior customers whom all loved her.

Gail enjoyed gardening and painting.

She is survived by her children, Gayle D. Vandenhurk and her husband Alexander of Pawtucket; 2 grandsons, Joshua G. and Dylan J. Harris; two great-grandchildren, Kianna Kristine and Dylan Alexander Harris; a step-son, Steven Pitocco; a sister, Paula Cabral; a brother, David Bjurman; several nieces and nephews and her 2 best friends, Barbara Materese and Barbara Ianacelli. She was the mother of the late Kristine Bizier and sister of the late Marilyn Zabbo.

Her Funeral Service will be held on Monday July 10, 2023 in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling Hours are Sunday 3-6 p.m. For online condolences please visit www.wrwatsonfuneralhome.com
