Gabriela (Rebelo) Gomes

Gabriela (Rebelo) Gomes, 62, of South Broadway, East Providence, passed away unexpectedly Sunday morning, Aug. 6, 2017 at RI Hospital. She was the wife of Jaime Gomes.

Born March 24, 1955, in Sao Miguel, Azores, she was a daughter of the late Hermano and Alzira (Marques) Rebelo.

In addition to her husband of 41 years, she leaves her son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Stephanie Gomes of East Providence and her daughter, Megan Gomes of Orlando, FL. She was the sister of Marie C. Botelho of East Providence, Armando Rebelo of Paris, France, the late Carlos Rebelo and the late Joao Luis Rebelo.

Her funeral will begin Wednesday, Aug. 9, at 9am from the Rebello Funeral Home and Crematory, 901 Broadway, East Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Francis Xavier Church, No. Carpenter St., East Providence. Burial will follow at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours will be Tuesday, from 4pm to 8pm.
