Fritz R. Petsch, Jr., 75, of Marsh Street passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the husband of Donna (Giglio) Petsch. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Fritz R. Sr. and Evelyn (Wilson) Petsch. Fritz was an IT Manager for Mahr/Federal Products and was with the company for 45 years before he retired. He was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Silver Spring Golf League, the West Barrington Men’s Club and the East Providence F.O.P.A. He also coached the East Providence Central Little League for 18 years and St. Martha’s C.Y.O. Basketball Team. Besides his wife he leaves one daughter, Lisa Dean of North Carolina, one son, Brian J. Petsch of Riverside, one sister, Anne Collier of East Providence and six grandchildren. His funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the Perry-McStay Funeral Home, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence. Burial with Military Honors will be in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Cranston. Calling hours Tuesday 4-8. In lieu of flowers contributions to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
