Frank G. Peixoto, 87, passed away on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the husband of Mary A. (Silveira) Peixoto to whom he was married 61 years.

Born in Praia do Norte, Faial, Azores he was a son of the late Joao Silveira Peixoto and Maria Das Dores (Garcia) Peixoto. Frank was a boat builder for the former Tillson Boat Builders before he retired. He was a faithful communicant of St. Francis Xavier Church and a member of the prayer group. He was also a member of the Holy Ghost Society at St. Anthony’s Church in Pawtucket.

Besides his wife he leaves one daughter, Jean M. Ealy and her husband Dayne, two sisters, Maria Alice Medeiros and Emilia Souto, three step grandchildren and one step great grandchild. He was the brother of the late Jose Peixoto, Antonio Peixoto and Manuel Peixoto.

His funeral will be held on Friday, October 26, 2018 at 9:00 AM from the Perry-McStay Funeral Home, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Francis Xavier Church, North Carpenter Street. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours Thursday 4-8.
