Everett J. “Red” Holland, 92, of Sachem Road, died peacefully on August 25, 2017 at the Rhode Island Veterans Home, Bristol. He was the husband of the late Ann (Foeri) Holland.

A lifelong resident of East Providence, he was the son of the late James E. and Hilma (Larson) Holland, he wintered in Florida and summered in Westport, MA.

Mr. Holland was an installer and repairman for the former New England Telephone Company for 53 years.

Everett was a graduate of East Providence High School Class of 1943. He enjoyed golfing and once hit a hole-in-one in Florida.

Mr. Holland was a United States Army Veteran serving during World War II.

He is survived by a brother, Raymond Holland of Bradenton, FL; three sister-in-laws, Eleanor Foeri of Riverside, Ann Foeri of East Providence and Helen Foeri of Pawtucket; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

His funeral service will be held on Tuesday August 29, 2017 in the W. Raymond Watson Funeral Home, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 10 a.m. Burial with Military Honors will be held on Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
