Ethel M. DeCataldo

Ethel M. DeCataldo, 84, of Central Avenue, passed away Wednesday May 24, 2017 at the Linn Healthcare Center. She was the wife of Angelo DeCataldo to whom she was married for 64 years. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Rose (DeFolio) Christopher. Mrs. DeCataldo was a mail room supervisor for Mercury Mail for 31 years before retiring. She leaves four sons, Michael DeCataldo (Ellen), John DeCataldo (Michaela), David DeCataldo (Deborah) and Robert DeCataldo (Joanne), twelve grandchildren, Sean Decataldo (Jennifer), Andrea Champagne (David), Sarah DeCataldo (Tara Pizzi), Emily Chabot (Lucas), Matthew DeCataldo, Laurie Ellison (David), Christian, Andrew, Amanda, Stephen, Caroline and Carly DeCataldo and nine great grandchildren, Sean, Jr. Aedan, Nathan, Brighton, Alarie, Josie, Austin, Nora and Eloise. She was the sister of the late, Louis, Michael and Raymond Christopher, Alice Monti and Shirley Arndt. Her funeral will be held on Saturday at 9:00 AM from the Perry-McStay Funeral Home, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Loreto Church, 346 Waterman Avenue, East Providence. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. Calling hours will be held Friday May 26, 2017 from 4-7. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Our Lady of Loreto Church.
