Eileen M. Wilson, 83, formerly of East Providence passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 2, 2021, at Grace Barker Health.

Born in Pawtucket, RI, She was a daughter of the late John J. Wilson, Jr. and Lillian M. (Gallagher) Wilson.

Eileen graduated from St. Mary Academy, Bay View, following in her mother’s footsteps years earlier. Following graduation, Eileen entered the Religious Sisters of Mercy and taught for many years in the Diocese of Rhode Island parish schools. Eileen completed her teaching career after 20 years at Bishop Feehan High School.

Eileen had a passion for genealogy tracing the family history thru four countries and in doing so met and made many friends.

Eileen is survived by her brother John J. Wilson, III. She also has seven nieces and nephews, 12 grand nieces and nephews, one great grand niece.

Due to the current pandemic and covid restrictions her funeral will be private. The family will celebrate her life with a Mass of Christian Burial at a later date once it is safe to do so.
