Edward P. Couri, 86, formerly of Riverside, passed away on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at his home. He was the devoted husband of the late Marjorie Rose (Enos) Couri.

Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Peter Couri and Helen Goddu. Mr. Couri was a Systems Analyst for Blue Cross & Blue Shield before he retired. He was also an Army veteran of the Korean War. He was an avid golfer and was a former member of the Fall River Country Club where he hit a Hole in One in September of 2002.

He was the beloved father of his three children, John P. Couri and his husband Michael Bartz, Adam B. Couri and his wife Christine and Jennifer R. Couri and her partner Mary Kennedy and the proud grandfather of Isabella Rose Couri and Maxx Edward Couri.

His funeral will be held on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at 10:00 AM from the Perry-McStay Funeral Home, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in St. Brendan’s Church, Turner Avenue, Riverside. Burial will be private. Calling hours Wednesday 4-7.
