Eduino D. Medeiros

Eduino D. Medeiros, 90, passed away on Monday, July 16, 2018 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the loving husband of Maria (Peixoto) Medeiros. Born in Praia do Norte, Faial, Azores. He was a son of the late Francisco D. and Emilia G. (Faria) Medeiros. Mr. Medeiros worked for Women & Infants Hospital in environmental services for many years before he retired. He was a communicant of St. Francis Xavier Church. Eduino was a gentle soul with a warm smile who was always there to help anyone who needed his help, He will be truly missed. Besides his wife he leaves two daughters, Maria Eduina and her husband Roberto Medeiros of Faial, Azores and Maria H. Medeiros of Riverside, two grandchildren, Alexandre Medeiros and Marco Medeiros, one great grandchild Simao Medeiros, one brother, Antonio Medeiros of East Providence and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Henorino Dutra, Edith Morais, Jaime Medeiros, Maria Emilia Medeiros and Angelina Silveira. His funeral will be held on Thursday at 8:00 AM from the PERRY-McSTAY FUNERAL HOME, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 AM in St. Francis Xavier Church, North Carpenter Street. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours Wednesday 5-8.
