Dorothy M. Palumbo

Dorothy M. Palumbo, 95, passed away on Sunday, June 25, 2017 at Waterview Villa Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Vincent J. Palumbo. Born in Adams, Massachusetts, she was a daughter of the late James N. and Vitaline (Bechard) Dalton. Mrs. Palumbo was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Dot loved spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by three sons, Daniel D. Harrington and his wife Barbara, Dale C. Harrington and his wife Margaret and Richard J. Palumbo and his wife Cheryl, seven grandchildren, Leigh Flaherty, Jonathan Harrington, Beth LeComte, Nicole and Danielle Palumbo, Camille and Elise Harrington, three great granddaughters, Violet Flaherty, Brynn LeComte and Eva Rosa and one nephew, Robert Dalton. She was the aunt of the late, Joan Lemoine. Her funeral and visitation will be held on Thursday, June 29, at 8:30 AM in the Perry-McStay Funeral Home, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM in Saint Margaret’s Church, 1098 Pawtucket Avenue, Rumford. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the March of Dimes, R.I. Market, 220 West Exchange Street, Suite 003, Providence, RI 02903.
