Dorothy M. Brightman, 89, formerly of Riverside passed away on Thursday June 8, 2017 at the Grace Barker Home. She was the wife of the late Charles R. Brightman. Born in Barrington, she was a daughter of the late George and Maude (Bell) McAdam. Mrs. Brightman was a manager for the Town & Country Cleaners and also the Kent Cleaners for 27 years before she retired. She lived in New Hampshire from 1982 to 1997 and was a member of the Meredith Historical Society in New Hampshire and the 50 Plus Club. She leaves one daughter, Jean DeBeaulieu of Warwick, one son, Douglas Wright of Bristol, four grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Cheryl Labbe and sister of the late Winnie Fournier, George McAdam and Donald McAdam. Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 AM in the Perry-McStay Funeral Home, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence. Burial will be in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
