Donald G. Crooks, 85, passed on Sunday, May 27, 2018. He was the loving husband of Geraldine M. (Glancy) Crooks. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late William and Mary (Morrow) Crooks. Mr. Crooks was employed by Verizon for 35 years. He loved his family and his church and enjoyed gardening, traveling and sailing in his retirement. Besides his wife he leaves two sons, David S. Crooks and his wife Jacqueline of Dedham, MA, and Kevin J. Crooks and his wife Patti of Sharon, MA, three grandchildren, Maxwell, Ryan and Caroline Crooks, beloved cousin, Margaret Duby and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late William S. Crooks. His funeral will be held on Friday at 9:00 AM from the Perry-McStay Funeral Home, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence with a service to follow at 10:00 AM in the Barrington Baptist Church, 25 Old County Road, Barrington.
