Domenic J. Pontarelli, 84, a longtime East Providence resident, passed away Thursday, December 10, 2020 at the Gatehouse Hospice at Divine Providence Hospital in Williamsport, PA. He was the husband of Dora Pontarelli and the late Leonore Jean (Perry) Pontarelli.

Born December 4, 1936, in Providence, he was the son of the late Domenico and Ida (Santilli) Pontarelli. He was a proud US Army veteran serving in Germany. After returning from the service he worked as tile installer for Arlington Tile and later was a car and truck salesman until he retired in 2002. He was a former communicant of St. Francis Xavier Church.

In addition to his wife he leaves his sons, Domenic T. Pontarelli and his wife Dona of East Providence and Michael J. Pontarelli and his wife Marylou of Greenville; his granddaughter, Kassandra A. Pontarelli; and his sister, Ann Marie Bradley of Exeter; and his step grandchildren, Melissa and Sarah; 3 nieces and 9 great nieces and nephews.

Services were private with burial at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
