Diane P. Rose, 80, of East Providence, passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2023 at the Hattie Ide Chaffee Home. She was the wife of Henry C. Rose.

Born in Attleboro, she was a daughter of the late Henry A. and Cecile (Salvas) Allard. Diane was a dedicated mother and a good friend to many. She enjoyed dancing but will always be remembered as a passionate advocate and lover of all animals.

Besides her husband she leaves two children, Sherry M. Rose-Harritos and her husband Vasilios and Henry D. Rose and his wife Jacqueline B., three grandchildren, Nicholas, Henry and Victoria and three sisters, Colleen Peach, Tresa Ball and Tina Allard.

Her funeral will be held on Friday, February 17, 2023 at 9:00 AM from the PERRY-McSTAY FUNERAL HOME, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Martha's Church, Pawtucket Avenue. Burial will be in St. Stephens Cemetery, Attleboro. Calling hours Thursday 4-8. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the RISPCA, 186 Amaral Street, Riverside, RI 02915 would be welcomed.
