Diane Marie Taylor

Diane Marie Taylor, 84, a Sister of Mercy for 66 years, passed away on Friday, January 4, 2019 while visiting family in Ohio.

Sister Diane was the daughter of the late Albert and Hazel (Brooks) Taylor and sister of the late Mary Louise Taylor Mohl. Sister Diane is survived by a brother, Lawrence Taylor and niece, Christine Noyes of Glen Mills, PA as well as nieces Stacy Mohl Nock of Ohio, Mary-Jo Mohl of New Hampshire, Julie Fegely of Michigan and Laura Pasternak of Georgia.

Sister, a gracious woman of Mercy, was a prominent artist who portrayed beauty and spirituality through her many original paintings. As a dedicated instructor of art over the years, Sister Diane taught at St. Patrick, Providence; Tyler, Providence; St. Mary, Bristol; Salve Regina University and St. Mary Academy-Bay View.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Margaret Church, 1098 Pawtucket Avenue, Rumford, RI. Visitation will begin in the church at 9:00 a.m. with a Mercy Prayer Service at 10:15 a.m. Interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland, RI.
