Claire L. (Murphy) Gage

Claire L. (Murphy) Gage 83, passed away November 22, 2017 at the Linn Health Care Center. She was the wife of the late Frank. W. Gage, and the daughter of the late Edmund F. Murphy, Sr. and Ann (Coleman) Murphy. Claire was the loving mother of Wayne Gage and his wife Nancy, as well as the devoted grandmother of Lauren Miklovic (Joe) and Christopher Gage, and the proud great-grandmother of James Miklovic. She was predeceased by her brother, Edmund F. Murphy, Jr.

At Claire’s request, there will be no calling hours. A memorial service will follow a private burial on Wednesday, November 29 at Newman Congregational Church, UCC, 100 Newman Ave., Rumford at 11:00 a.m. Donations to the Bread of Life Food Pantry, c/o Newman Church in her name will be greatly appreciated.
