Barry W. Provost, 73 of Rumford, passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2020. He was the beloved husband of Gail A. (Donato) Provost.

Born in Cranston, RI, he was a son of the late Albert and Mildred (Bradtmuller) Provost.

Barry was an Electrician until he retired. He enjoyed the outdoors and loved taking care of his vegetable garden, lawn and pool. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. He was someone you could always count on. He was loved by all who knew him. He will truly be missed.

Besides his wife he leaves two daughters, Kendra Harney of East Providence, Toni McKenna and her husband Michael of Attleboro, one sister, Janice Phillips of Pascoag, five grandchildren, Taylor McKenna, Kaitlin McKenna, Jack Harney, Madison Harney and Kylie McKenna and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Mark Provost.

His funeral and visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2020 from 11:00 A.M. to 12 P.M. in the PERRY-McSTAY Funeral Home , 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence with a service to follow at 12 P.M. Burial will be private.
