Barbara A. Pompei

Barbara A. Pompei, 92, of Read Street, Riverside, died peacefully on June 16, 2018. She was the wife of the late Rocco Pompei.

Born in Riverside, a daughter of the late Frank C. and Harriet A. (Slade) Bruseny, she was a lifelong resident of Riverside.

Mrs. Pompei was a communicant of St. Brendan Church and a member of the parish Forever Young Club and Rosary & Altar Society. She also was a member of the Barrington Senior Center.

She is survived by two sons, Richard F. Pompei and his wife Christine of Riverside and Stephen R. Pompei and his husband Christopher Utter of Providence; a sister, Evelyn Andreozzi of Barrington; four grandchildren, Richard F. Pompei Jr., Amy E. Desorcy, Jason Fournier and Benjamin Fournier and six great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Dorothy E. Cameron, May Stone, Lena N. Bruseny and Wilbur Bruseny.

Her Funeral service will be held on Thursday June 21, 2018 in the W. Raymond Watson Funeral Home, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 10:00 a.m. Calling hours and flowers are respectfully omitted.
