Armando M. Machado, Jr.

Armando M. Machado, Jr. 57 of East Falmouth, Ma. passed away on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at Brigham & Women’s Hospital. He was the husband of Charlene J. (Mahan) Machado. He was born in Providence, a son of Edna (Souza) Pacheco-Aponte and the late Armando M. Machado, Sr. Armando was a construction superintendent for the Callahan Construction Company. He was an avid car enthusiast and enjoyed traveling, boating and the water. He loved life and enjoyed it to the fullest but his greatest love was his family. They meant everything to him. Besides his wife and mother he leaves two sons, Armando A. Machado and Christopher M. Machado both of East Providence, one stepdaughter, Stephanie E. Anderson of East Falmouth, one stepson, Benjamin M. Anderson of Fall River, one brother, John A. Machado of Narragansett, two sisters, Ann M. Siconio and Lisa M. Calise both of Warwick and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Jack Machado. His funeral will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at 10:00 AM from the Perry-McStay Funeral Home, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in St. Martha’s Church, Pawtucket Avenue. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours Friday 5-8.
