Anthony “T” Basile, 96, of Flagler Beach, Florida passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House, Palm Coast, Florida. He was the husband of Wanda (Lutz) Basile. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Palmino and Teresa (Spremulli) Basile. Mr. Basile was a mason for several construction companies, most recently for the Cardi Corporation and was also an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Young Pannese Social Club and enjoyed skiing and traveling. He leaves one sister, Rose “Rae” McCaughey of Florida, two brothers, Salvatore “Sonny” Basile of California and Lorenzo “Larry” Basile of Cranston and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 10:00 AM in St. Martha’s Church, Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence. Burial will be private. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 6-8 PM in the Perry-McStay Funeral Home, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence.
