Ana E. daSilveira, 87 passed away Monday May 29, 2017. She was the wife of the late Jose Q. daSilveira. Born in Praia do Norte Faial, Azores she was a daughter of the late Jose and Ana (Andrade) Soito. Ana worked as an assembler, for Davol for many years before retiring. She is survived by five children Humberto M. da Silveira of East Providence, Maria U. Spencer of NH, Maria H. daSilveira of East Providence, Natalina C. daSilveira of CA, Lina DeSousa of SC, four brothers Antonio, Jose, Eduino, and Guilherme Soito, four sisters Julia Soito, Angelina Medeiros, Delfina Silveira, Helena Avila, four grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. She was the mother of the late Maria Helena daSilveira, and sister of the late Manuel and Maria Soito. Her funeral will be held on Saturday at 9 AM from the PERRY-McStay Funeral Home 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Francis Xavier Church, North Carpenter Street, East Providence. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours Friday 4-7 PM.
