Alice E. Yates, 90, of Riverside, passed away on Sunday, August 27, 2017 at Rhode Island Hospital. She was the wife of the late Thomas J. Yates. Born in Seekonk, she was a daughter of the late Lars and Anna (Erickson) Philipson. Mrs. Yates was a bookkeeper for Clark the Locksmith before she retired and also worked for many years as a hairdresser. She was an avid reader. She leaves three children, Deborah Farley and her husband John, Diane Bonalewicz and Thomas J. Yates, Jr. and his wife Christina, three grandchildren, Erin Farley, Miles Bonalewicz and his wife Justine and Daniel Bonalewicz. She was the sister of the late Helen Clark, Myrtle Kulgren and Carl Philipson. Her funeral services will be private.
