Albertina E. “Edna” Macedo
Albertina E. “Edna” Macedo, 98, died August 2, 2018 at Orchard View Manor. Born July 8, 1920, in Seekonk, MA, she was a daughter of the late Francisco Paiva Macedo and the late Maria E. (Bernardo) Macedo.
She worked as a press operator for the former Mason Can in East Providence until her retirement.
Edna is survived by her extended family of nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great- great nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her siblings; Laurentina “Lena” Cardono, Joseph Macedo, Manuel Maceda, Frank Macedo and Sergio Macedo.
Her funeral will begin on Monday at 9am from the Rebello Funeral Home and Crematory, 901 Broadway, East Providence, RI followed by A Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Francis Xavier Church, N. Carpenter St., East Providence. Burial will be at Maria del Campo Cemetery in Barrington. Calling hours will be on MONDAY (8/6) from 8-9am.
