Louis Furtado
Louis Furtado, 62, of Read Street, Riverside, died unexpectedly on March 10, 2017. He was the beloved husband of Brenda L. (Mellen) Furtado.
Born in Providence, a son of the late Louis and Olive J. (DeAquair) Furtado, he lived in Riverside for 38 years.
Mr. Furtado was an engineer for the past 40 years.
Besides his wife of 40 years, he is survived by two sons, Daniel L. Furtado of Riverside and Matthew J. Furtado of Riverside; a daughter, Kristin E. Furtado of Riverside and a grandson.
His funeral service will be held on Monday March 13, 2017 in the W. Raymond Watson Funeral Home, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 7 p.m. Calling hours are Monday 6 p.m. - 7 p.m. Burial will be held in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Flowers are respectfully omitted. Contributions in Louis’s memory to a charity of your choice would be deeply appreciated.
