James E. Turner, “Jimmy” “Chicky” 47, of Rumford, RI, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 27, 2017. He was the husband of Kerry Ann (Wilson) Turner. They were married for 10 years.

Born in Providence, he was the son of Suzanne E. (Brown) Turner and the late Everett H. Turner, Jr.

Jimmy served his country proudly in the Rhode Island Army National Guard.

He worked as a roofer with the Roofers Local Union # 33 in Stoughton, MA for many years.

Besides his wife and mother, he leaves two children, Adam J. Turner and Samantha N. Turner; a brother, John K. Turner; a sister, Suzanne M. Turner; and extended family, friends, and colleagues.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Jimmy’s family on Monday, February 6, 2017 from 9:00 to 10:00am, with a funeral service beginning at 10:00 am, in the Russell J.
