Charles L. Lindberg

Charles L. Lindberg, 89, of Campbell Ave., Rumford, passed away Saturday, Dec. 31, 2016 at the RI Hospital. He was the husband of Margaret (Mycroft) Lindberg.

Born May 25, 1927, in Cranston, he was a son of the late Arthur and Ada (Dewey) Lindberg.

Mr. Lindberg was a US Navy veteran of WWII and later served in the US Air Force during the Korean War.

In addition to his wife of 48 years, he leaves his daughter Tara Lindberg; his son and daughter-in-law, Arthur and Jennifer Lindberg; and his three grandchildren, Luke, Logan and Lily.

He was also the brother of Dorothy Lindberg, Donald Lindberg, and of the late Arthur Lindberg, Florence Urquhart, and Madeline Chapman.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial, Monday, Jan. 9, at 10am in St. Margaret's Church, 1098 Pawtucket Ave., Rumford. Military honors and burial will follow at the RI Veteran's Cemetery. Calling hours are respectfully omitted.
