2023 Scholarship Recipients

Paris Martin-AWARD- $2,000.00 Paris is a 2023 Graduate of East Providence High School. Paris is attending Case Western Reserve University, majoring in biology and plans on a career as a nurse practitioner.

Shawn D’Arezzo-AWARD- $2,000.00 Shawn is a 2020 Graduate of East Providence High School. Shawn is currently a continuing student at Rhode Island College, majoring in music education and performance.

Elijah Barber-AWARD- $1,000.00, Graduate of East Providence High School. Elijah is a continuing student in his sophomore year at Johnson & Wales University, majoring in Exercise and Sports Science.

On behalf of the Foundation, we would like to congratulate these fine students and wish them the best of luck as they begin or continue on with their journey.

The Lauren Zarembka Memorial Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing scholarships to assist graduating and continuing students whose studies will be in the disciplines of, medicine, music/theater and culinary arts. Additionally the foundation also provides funding for music/theater programs and families battling Pediatric Cancer in cooperation with The Tomorrow Fund at Hasbro Children’s Hospital from Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts.
